Now I’m a Volleyball Mom

This year my daughter decided to give volleyball a try. It’s our first fall season without soccer and I was wondering whether I’d miss it. I miss watching her run, that’s for sure. I don’t miss sitting out in the cold rain. Nope, I’ve traded that for a nice hard seat in the bleachers! The girls head to the high school for six in the morning! I’ve never seen such a group of dedicated girls. My dd doesn’t want to miss a single minute of being at practice. Huh? This is my kid? I’ve got new rules to learn. I still have to figure out what “side out” means. Any one want to fill me in?

its when you get the ball back from the other side. Like the oppistie team has the ball and they miss the serve, thats a side out for your team
